How it Works

We'll be running the site as a beta for 2012 Sprint Cup season, which means a few things for you:

  1. It's free this season. We'll most likely charge a small fee for each league during the 2013 season.
  2. It won't be perfect this season, and we may even ask you to point out the flaws if you see any
  3. Since we're in beta testing, you never know what could happen... so be prepared for the best and be prepared for the worst.

That last part is important. Because we're in beta, you're essentially helping test fantasynascar.com. While we make every effort to keep things running smoothly, keep your team and league data in order, and keep the site up and running 24/7, we do not make any guarantees whatsoever this season. Remember, this season is a beta test and sometimes tests fail... so please do keep that in mind.

But how does it work?

You (and up to 9 of your friends) decide you want to do a fantasy NASCAR league this year. You have your own draft, in which each team gets to draft 6 drivers. You also appoint a league manager.

Your league manager registers here on the site, then sets up the league and all teams. It's dead simple and should only take your manager maybe 20 minutes to set up.

After your league mangager sets up your teams, you will receive an email from fantasynascar.com with their username and password, and you can start making your picks for the 2012 season any time you want. You probably don't want to make your picks until after qualifying for each race, but hey, it's your team... do whatever the heck you want!

After each race is over, fantasynascar.com will enter the actual race results, which will automatically show you your league and team totals in your dashboard. You don't have to do anything except make your picks every week and all the math is done for you!

What are the rules?

There aren't many, but there are a few:

So how are points calculated?

Here's how we do the math:

The team in your league with the fewest points at the end of the season is the winner of your league

Do we play against other leagues or get to see how other leagues are doing?

No, this is just between you and your friends, co-workers, or people you know. Your dashboard will only show information about YOUR league.

How can I report a problem I'm having?
